Whether you are a C-suite executive seeking coaching, a rising leader pursuing advancement, or a young professional ready for change, developing your own map helps you define and achieve what matters most. To you.

Through coaching, advisory and development work we help you clarify objectives, build momentum and move forward with confidence.

To build your map, we will work together to:

Confirm your current coordinates – your starting point

Envision your destination – or at least the next stop

Define the route you want to take – express, scenic, active, calm?

Equip you with supplies for your journey – skills, mindsets, practices, support

Our process unpacks each step to create a clear trail forward.

Cartography Partners also works with teams to create common maps.  After all, we rarely get where we are going alone.

“I founded Cartography Partners to share my expertise in executive coaching and leadership development” - Betsy Rosenblum

During 30 years with McKinsey & Company, I led teams around the world to shape solutions, drive change and grow talent.  Most recently, I was Director of Strategic Planning & Culture, where I was responsible for a significant transformation agenda that combined clear strategic planning with leadership development across our Optimize unit.

Strategic planning and leadership development go hand-in-hand. Individuals and teams with a clear growth path achieve more and find greater satisfaction.

Often, people sense their desired outcomes, but struggle to realize their potential.  Personalized coaching unlocks new ways of thinking. It gets people “unstuck.”

I know what it’s like to feel stuck. For me, it came after practicing law, and more than a decade implementing solutions at McKinsey. Important work, but it wasn’t inspiring me anymore, and I felt dead-ended.  (I used to joke about throwing my laptop in the Chicago River….but it was wintertime, and it would have just skidded on the ice.)

So I made a choice: get intentional about change. With two daughters watching, I wanted to model resilience. My family became champions of the process.

In 2025 I received McKinsey’s inaugural Minto Award. Each of the four winners was recognized for excellence in elevating mindsets and driving lasting change across McKinsey’s 40,000 employees.  I’m energized by the impact I’ve achieved with my colleagues’ support.

In 2026 I founded Cartography Partners to share my expertise in executive coaching and leadership development.
